What is Day for Night?

Day for Night is a new festival centered around visual art and music artists. Some even describe it as a music festival inside of an art installation. In 2015 Houston, Texas launched the festival and was successful enough to earn another year of showcasing music and visual art. In December of 2016 the festival was moved from a 20,000 squarfoot venue to a 1.5 million squarefoot venue. With only 2 years to show for Day for Night has already gained international attention and tickets have already been released for purchase for the upcoming 2017 festival.

Music is an essential part of any festival. In 2015 Day for Night headliners were hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar and R&B sensation Janelle Monae. In 2016 Day for Night had an oustanding line-up, from Houtson native Travis Scott to Aphex Twin who had not performed a show in the United States the past 8 years.
